Description: Right in the heart of cottage country, minutes from Bala, on very popular Lake Muskoka, this two bedroom cottage, (with bunkie), offers fabulous views across the lake to Acton Island.

Inside you will find the warmth of traditional cottage decor. The open concept living room/dining room/kitchen area, with vaulted ceilings and flooded with light through the large windows, will be enjoyed by the whole family. There is plenty of seating on three comfortable couches in the living room area, and there is satellite television, a DVD and CD player. A wood stove will take the chill off cool evenings. The dining table seats six. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a dishwasher. A Muskoka room, entered from the living room or the deck, is ideal for reading, playing games or cards.

The deck right across the front of the cottage is the perfect spot for dining, entertaining or simply relaxing and enjoying the lake views.

The master bedroom has a queen size bed, and the second bedroom offers two single beds. The three-piece bathroom has a tub (no shower).

The bunkie, located just behind the cottage, is outfitted with a two-piece bathroom, and fridge and stove. The living area of the Bunkie can seat five. One Bunkie bedroom has a double bed, and the other has two single beds. Steps from the Bunkie, there is an outdoor shower with hot and cold water.

The waterfront is highlighted by the boathouse. The boathouse deck, furnished with a table, chairs and umbrella, offers the ultimate lake views. To the right of the boathouse dock, there is a small sandy beach area with shallow entry. Water, approximately 7ft. deep, can be found at the end of the dock, and there is a ladder on the dock for getting in and out of the water. A canoe is provided for those who wish to explore the bays and lake while getting some exercise. If you bring your own boat, it can be launched at Bala Park Island, about 1.5 miles away, or at Perks in Bala.

In the summer, stroll the main street while enjoying an ice cream, or follow a Muskoka tradition, and buy scones and chelsea buns at Don's Bakery.
