Description:
This quiet year-round Muskoka retreat is
conveniently located just seven kilometers from the
town of Huntsville. Nestled close to the shoreline,
this year-round cottage offers peace, tranquility, a
wide open view and southern exposure for all-day
sun. A propane fireplace in the living area
adds to this romantic setting.
There are three bedrooms at this cottage, two with queen beds, and one with a double
bed. The bathroom is situated close to all of them.
A canoe with paddles, a paddleboat and
lifejackets are there for you to explore the lake.
Two mountain bikes are available upon request.
The
owners request that you bring your own flash light,
since the walk to the cottage in the dark could be
tricky. There is a path from the road down to the
cottage itself. They also recommend that when you
first go to the cottage, you come in the day light.
Otter Lake is a small, motor boat-free lake
close to the town of Huntsville in the District of
Muskoka. Located about a two-hour drive north of
Toronto, the cottage is a half-hour drive from
world-famous Algonquin Park. Shopping, restaurants,
hospital and world-class entertainment (Deerhurst
Resort) are readily available. In summer, hiking,
biking, canoeing, swimming and golf are never far
away. Bird-watching, feeding the chipmunks and
ducks, and just plain relaxing are also popular
pastimes at Otter Haven.
