Description:
Nestled on a large, level lot on beautiful Mary
Lake, Blue Too has a wonderful view of the water
from the large living room windows. Mature trees
give shade to the front area of the cottage, while
the large front deck that faces the water has plenty
of sun. The trees at the edge of the property give
privacy from neighboring cottages.
Access to
the water is by a series of natural stone steps down
a slope. Once there, you will find a large dock from
which to swim or launch the rowboat. At the end of
the dock there is a ladder leading into the water,
where the depth is about six feet. The clear water
is wonderful for swimming.
The cottage has a
recently renovated kitchen. The dining area and
living area are open to the kitchen so no one needs
to feel isolated as they prepare the meals.
A
door can be closed to the hallway that leads to
three bedrooms. The first has a double bed, the
second has a double bed and the third has a set of
bunks. There is one bathroom with a bathtub and
shower.
From the cottage, it is a short drive
to the village of Port Sydney, with its general
store, restaurants and huge, sandy public beach, or
take the ten minute drive to Huntsville for
shopping, Pioneer Village, Algonquin Theatre, many
restaurants and other amenities. Algonquin Park is
less than one hours drive. If you are an avid
boater, you can explore the seventy-kilometer chain
of lakes that connect to Mary Lake through a set of
locks on the Muskoka River. The possibilities for
fun and memorable times are endless!
